All horse
owners, amateur and youth exhibitors (may be included in family membership)
MUST be members of the Michigan Paint Horse Club. No points will be counted
until after membership(s) are paid. Exception-Grand and Reserve halter, lead
line-exhibitor need not be a member.

2.
|
To qualify in each class you must show (5) FIVE
separate week-ends, (1) ONE of the (5) FIVE separate weekends MUST BE the July
or August Allegan show and (16) SIXTEEN judges for the season. Lead line must show under at least one
judge. NOTE; THE OCTOBER SHOW AND THE JUNE MSU COMBINED SHOW DOES COUNT TOWARDS YEAR END AWARDS. |

Points in all classes will be awarded as follows: 7 points for 1st, 6 for 2nd, 5 for 3rd, etc. If there are less than (7) seven horses in the class, points will be awarded on the total number in the class. The Grand Champion will always receive 2 more points than any other horse in its sex division. The reserve Champion will always receive 1 more point than any other horse in its sex division. | |

Any stallion gelded during show season will not carry over halter points to the respective gelding class | |
| 5. | Year end awards will be given to the Open High Point and Open Reserve High Point Mare, Stallion and Gelding. Grand and Reserves will count toward this award. | |

Only one belt buckle will be awarded per horse. Your other wins will be at a percentage of the first win. | |

7.

A High Point and Reserve High Point Open Performance award will be given for Open classes only. To qualify, you must go in three separate performance classes, or 2 separate performance classes and 1 halter class (color class excluded). You must qualify in each class according to the year end rules. | |

8.
|
High Point All Around Yearling Award. You must go in open halter, yearling longe line and yearling trail in hand and must qualify in each class according to year end rules. | |

9. |
A High Point and Reserve High Point award will be given to Walk Trot, 13 and under Youth, 14 to 18 Youth, Novice Youth, Amateur Classic, Amateur Masters, Novice Amateur and Solid Paint Bred. Halter classes are not mandatory, but will count toward this award. If a Novice class is not offered (i.e. Halter, etc.) the corresponding Amateur or Youth class will not count toward High Point awards. | |

An award will be given to the High Point and Reserve High Point Exhibitor. Open halter and performance points will count on all horses that qualify. | |
|
11.
|
Only points on horses and classes that qualify will count toward high point awards. | |
|
12.
|
All entry blanks must contain all information of each and every class or state points will not be given for said class. | |
